BEIJING, China — The World Daoism Organization (WDO) has announced the launch of a series of international Dao Study Tours aimed at fostering cross-cultural understanding and dialogue.

The tours, which will span across China and Southeast Asia, will bring together religious leaders, academics, and cultural ambassadors from various countries. They will explore the historical roots of Daoism, its influence on contemporary society, and its potential to contribute to global peace and harmony.

“Daoism is not just a religion; it’s a philosophy that transcends borders and cultures,” said WDO President Zhang Tao. “We believe that by sharing the wisdom of Daoism, we can inspire greater respect and understanding among nations.”

The first tour is set to depart in the coming months, with destinations including the Daoist temples of Taiwan, the sacred mountains of Vietnam, and the cultural heritage sites of Thailand.
